Council of State Judgment on Bergermeer Gas Storage expected in 6 weeks

On 23 January 2012 the Dutch Council of State, the highest administrative court in the Netherlands, held a court hearing in the appeals procedure against the approvals and permits for Bergermeer Gas Storage.
The appeal procedure is the last phase in the permitting procedure for Bergermeer Gas Storage.
The Council of State announced that it will strive to give its judgment within six weeks.
The final approvals and permits to construct and operate Bergermeer Gas Storage were received from the Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture & Innovation, Minister of Infrastructure & Environment and other authorities in May 2011.
